This last weekend we made a trip to the log cabin to get our tree and wander through the Christmas cabins! It began to pour while we were there, but you know how I love those kinds of days. The woods were a magical place - the smell of evergreen and fir trees filled the air, and Christmas lights brightened the cozy little cabins.
We bought a couple of ornaments and picked out a beautiful, fragrant Frasier fir. Michael stood out in the rain and tied the tree to the top of the van. It was one of those many times when I am thankful to be a girl!

Noah- Smile a bit more. It takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile...and you'll live longer.
Mom- Do we look photo-shopped into that second picture, because I kinda feel like we do. I promise we were really there!
